Description

Situated at the top of the hill opposite Griffith Observatory, Charlie Turner Trailhead is a great place to enjoy a breathtaking view of Los Angeles. On a clear day, the Hollywood sign is visible from the Captain's Roost viewpoint. The trail is well-maintained and perfect for a mini hike with the family. Parking is free at the bottom of the hill, but it is a bit of a trek to the top. The trails are dusty but worth it for the sweeping views of the city.
