Listen. It's not special, but in a way it is. In one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in this country, it is a country dive bar. It is the opposite of gentrification and people seem happy there. That is worth five stars. Beer tastes good.

Always a great time when y friends and I visit. Best value in the city. Would also rate it one of the top 5 Dive bars in NYC

RIP to my favorite bar in the city. Used to play Ace-Deuce and Cee-lo in the back corner of the 2nd floor with a bunch of goons for hours after work every Friday. Singles flying everywhere, 20 dollar pitchers of Brooklyn Lager hand-delivered to the table and a juke box playing classics...I can still see and smell it in my brain. I'll forever miss all those pool sharks, veterans, iron workers and underground radio hosts I've met there over the years. What a travesty. Hopefully a bunch of developers can open up a trendy new spot with the same "hot new twist on a classic" cocktails for $18.99 to replace it
